Join Swiss humanitarian worker Kathi Zellweger and former CNN reporter and award-winning journalist Mike Chinoy for a discussion of their new book, Miss Kathi: Saving Lives in North Korea. They will explore humanitarian work in one of the world’s most isolated countries, the challenges of delivering life-saving aid, faith in action, and the evolving security landscape on the Korean Peninsula.

Kathi Zellweger is a Swiss humanitarian with more than 30 years of experience in Hong Kong, China, and North Korea. She served as the North Korea country director for the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and founded KorAid, supporting vulnerable children and people with disabilities.

Mike Chinoy is an award-winning journalist and former CNN senior Asia correspondent. A leading expert on China and North Korea, he reported from Asia for more than two decades, visited North Korea 17 times, and is the author of five books.

The John Oh Memorial Lecture was established with generous support from the Oh family in honor of John K.C. Oh, vice president of The Catholic University of America (1985–1989) and the Banigan Scholar Emeritus Professor in the Department of Politics.
